Inspired by the knit stitches, I designed
the pen case. I found the potential usage in the void of the knitting
pattern. So, connecting the endpoints of an individual unit can make expandable
three-dimensional patterns.
Reduce the glossed appeal of 3D printing objects:
FDM-printedoutputs commonly have an unattractive finish: the layer’s line and an unrefined glossy finish. I experimented with various methods to appeal to the compelling texture, such as chemical treatments, surface spraying, and rough patterns. Through these tests, I discovered a solution: intricately rock-textured modeling in person using the Z-brush tool effectively reduces the glossy coat and highlights a satin fabric texture. As a result, this process eliminates the glossed appearance, revealing the distinctive satin fabric texture of the plastic material.
